That’s the best FPV sunset footage I’ve seen by a long way, nice one.

awesome Video !
But 6 minute flight time ? is that running it hard or in a hover ?
:)

That is 6 minutes flying hard, leaves 10 to 20% in the battery as a safety margin.

Well done richard, amazing footage and very well edited as usual.
Have to see if your kk2 board does even better results.
Keep them coming. :-)

Thanks Chad, trying to fulfil the "Elevating" part of your mission statement. Hopefully this and other content on Flite Test inspires others to get into this great hobby.

WOW! That was incredible! You have so much power! I wish my tricopter had that much power, and it was so smooth! You are a fantastic pilot by the way. I wish there were more stars I could give, because 5 isn't enough! Great work!

Yes remarkable value thanks to the ER9X firmware which is excellent. One of other benefits of FrSky is the speed of re-link when signal is lost; in many cases it is just a second before control is re-established. My old DSM2 takes a minimum of 6 seconds!

Thnks for your comments. Keep trying, that's the joy of FPV, it rewards patience and practice. If you need any help then just ask, there are lots of people willing to share their experience both on Flite Test and other websites.

My biggest problem has been the tail section have been using a t-pro mg96r tail servo and it was just rubbish all over the place, now have ordered the mg996r digital servo hoping this will be good enough.. fingers crossed.
also for your fpv are you running 5.8ghz? sorry for so many questions, i have built 3 units so far without one flight :-( but i have learned so much..

Can you describe what problem you have with the yaw servo, what does the Tri do or not do? In my experience you don't need a very high end servo, I have sucessfully used a T-Pro MG16R (budget metal gear digital servo) and now I'm testing a Power HD 1810MG digital servo. Both work really well.

An update on the HD 1810MG digital servo, it failed so I won't be recommending it. I have reverted back to the T-Pro MG16R which is still working well.
