Are you guys going to get a stabilization system for your plane? Your video was a little shaky but still pretty good. Try not to do as much editing with the beat unless it is like a montage but even then you may not want to because the viewers sometimes like as stable feed as possible. When you edit with the beat you take a bit of stabilization away it seems. good video though keep it up you guys! Great Job!

Thank you! We appreciate these kind of comments! We don't use a stabilizer but maybe in the future we will. Maybe we'll put one in the ritewing zephyr II that's laying around here doing nothing....
The cause of the shaky video is that when we flew there there 50 mph winds and even our very overpowered easystar could'nt fly well in these kind of circumstances.

Looking forward to more videos. Wind is one enemy of airplanes. keep it up maybe try the i86 stabalizer if you want something cheap and easy that works real well. FT did a review on it a while ago if you want to check it out. If your using eagletree in the future just get a guardian.

P.S. Do you travel and fly? just wondering because of the 'trip' in the name.

Yes this was a trip to England where we stayed for 4 days in Winchester. Then we flew to Switzerland and got some really beautiful footage! We dropped the easystar of a mountain that was 2100 meters high! Videos are on our youtube channel.
We are also thinking of building or buying a quad. I was looking for something that looks like the fpvmanuals.com quadcopter. Or the TBS Discovery. Do you have any experience in multirotors?

Cool! I haven't built anything yet but plan to certainly in the future. I do know a lot about them though and how they work and fly one on my simulator. As for the TBS dicovery quad- it's crazy expensive! I know of something that is a clone of it and lots cheaper. I looked at the Quav500 and it looks like an expensive version of an h-quad with glass fiber instead of wood. FT did a review and build of the H-quad and it looks fenomenal. You could even take rcexplorer.se's impact fold back arms for a mod. Speaking of rcexplorer, on his website www.rcexplorer.se there is the tricopter which seems like people fly through the tightest of spaces with. I would recommend the v2.5 and the v2.6 version since they are the most advanced but simple and cheap to build. By just going to David's (rcexplorer) website I learned almost everything I know about multirotors. If you have any questions please talk to me, I'm happy to help!

Do any of you want to look into multirotor? Because I love videos that combine plane and multirotor footage especially because of how all of it looks together. It also sometimes fits really well with some songs that have fast and slow beats. Just a tip. Trappy from TBS does some really great stuff like this and the people love it.
