it is . i had to tune it the other day in the wind . so that it would be stable with wind . its also been fine tuned without a lcd on the kk2 because i had a glitch and broke the lcd . but its running really well . im amped to head down to the coast and fly on the beaches when im there in december

This is so solid. Did you find it easier to achieve a stable video with the quad vs your tri? I'm considering going quad too, but hate to give up on my tri.

I want very stable video when i build mine and i see things that point to a tri working well and also a quad what do you guys think?

Based on RCExplorer's latest videos, its very possible to get super stable video with a tri. Materials and setup has a lot to do with it. So far I haven't found that magic combination that I'm completely satisfied with. It might entirely be the materials I've used, or how I've mounted the control board. There are so many variables.

Have you left for Durbs yet?

I would like to have a look at your quad if you don't mind it looks great.
I also stay in alberton and fly just about anyting that I can get my hands on.

I am looking for a new rig for a gopro and would rather go local if posible.

the quad is easer to get stable video on a budget . im running hk dst1200 that are less than 7 dollars and the escs are ss15/18 they are also less than 8 dollars each . my tricopter had the same but could not lift the gopro and have a decent flight time .
