Simple Quad

Now thats an awesome quad. I'm going to get the stuff for a quad as soon as I can. This will be my first quadcopter, and it would really be helpful if you guys would NAME THE LENTH OF THE ARMS. It's a scratch build so it's not going to help if you don't name the length of the arms. >.<

...you gonna crash, that's true. But better crash your Tri or Quad than your heli. Best practice platform for everyone who wants to get into heli flying.

Great video, I've been hoping Flite Test would do something like this for a while! However I did notice that in the video Josh said that they're using the Hobbyking Multi-Copter Control Board v3.0, however the link you've provided is to the v2.1, and I think there are some differences so you'd better fix that to avoid confusion when people come to look at the part list. Keep it up guys, it'd be nice to see the measurements of the frame built! :)

I think this is a great start for new multirotor pilots!! This should hold up well for a long time if it's lightweight.

Great video. I have the same set-up on a Chinese quadcopter frame.

For anyone looking to use these engines; they do need all grub screws tightened. I have applied lock tight to my engines and they haven't come loose.

I can't wait for the second video with more details. I have already built a quadcopter, so this is not that new to me, but there are always things to learn. You guys give lots of good tips and tricks so I am sure I will learn something new. More quadcopter builds would be great!

AHHHHHH!!!! Why couldn't you have made this video 3 weeks ago. lol. Everything you said not to do,
<-------This guy did them. Yes Crashing is inevitable. But I really like them. I like them so much I Just ordered the the Naza and a flame wheel F450 today. Oh and we just got our Bixler in today! Thanks guys you rock and God bless.

i want to build my first quad and this looks like a great one to start out with. do i have to buy the usb asp drive or is it required? and what are the specks for the frame?
