Alan's Workshop

Josh and Eric are joined by Alan Bruce while out on the road, and had the opportunity to check out his workshop.

Alan had quite the setup and a lot of cool planes and quads in his collection.

He even had a RoadRunner which caught Eric's eye.

Alan even showed a modification of his own to his FPV goggles. He put them in a welding helment to block out any unecessary sunlight for those sunny days of flight.

Alan also had an interesting FPV camera on one of his planes. He used old servos and made a nearly 360 degree camera pivot.

Again we would like to thank Alan for showing us his home and workshop, and if you guys would like to see more of these types of episodes, let us know. Thanks for watching guys, see you next time.

I would love a more detailed article on how to make a visor like that. I know it is not that complicated, but still. A more complete article would be a great reference.

Talking abous DIY FPV helmets, this is mine, nice, cheap and works exellent.
It took a few hours to make it from thick card board, add fresnel lens too.
