Andalucia from above

Last month my friends and I went on a 3 week trip to Spain.

The plan was to take my TBS Discovery with me and fly on as many occasions possible to shoot some awesome video.

The TBS Discovery I have had been modded to fit a cheap brushless gimball on the front, like the TBS PRO.

I was really happy with the setup and had 12min flighttimes, wich I was very happy with.

I managed to make 3 flights.

The first one was in a small coastal village we passed by when we were looking for a place to eat.

The second flight was flown in Ronda, a beautiful small city with an awesome bridge.

The third flight took place in Tarifa, the most southern point of Spain (and closest to Morocco).

Here's the video I made:

Unfortunately during that third flight I lost all control while flying around a tourist boat. My quad plunged into the sea and I lost everything.

The actual cause will allways be a question, but I guess the hull of the boat or the antenna's/Radar must have blocked my signal. I had flown on greater distances before and my video link did work until the point it hit the water.

The exact location of the place it hit the water:

As you can see it landed in the middle of the harbor, making it impossible to dive for it.

If anyone would ever visit the location and rescue it, send me the SD card! :)

Very nice footage :)
One tip, completely remove the sound of your quad when you're in flight of the video. I thought my earphones had a problem...
And were you aware that drone are not allowed to be flown over Spain anymore? ;)
