I just got in the mailbox this little micro quadcopter. Its the Aviator YK016, that you can buy directly from www.tmart.com

This one is thinked for people that wants to start in multicopter flying, and doesnt have a big budget just for "try how is it"  it costs $29,99 and includes free worldwide shipping.

This quadcopter, comes in a RTF package. It includes everything but the transmitter batteries (6xAA batts), and it comes well packed, for protect the unit from the long trip from China.

After opening the box, the first thing to do (besides buy 6 AA batteries) is to charge the multicopter battery. To do this, connect the charger to a spare USB port, or a wall usb charger, and connect the battery to it. It takes arround 15 mins to full charge the battery.

This quad is very well built, and the beginners "PLUS" is the propeller protectors that come preinstalled in the motors. They protect the propellers and the frame agains crashes and wall taps. Belive me when I say that I will save you from a lot of broken parts.

There are 4 propeller protectors, one on each motor, and also, the protectors include a little landing skid to each motor, so you dont have to be worried about hard landings anymore

The transmitter looks like a game pad, and the sticks look very delicate. You must take care of this, because you dont want a broken stick in your new toy

This transmitter works at 2.4Ghz, but is not compatible with any standard protocol. It includes no indicators (just an power and a bind led), it has digital trims, and triple rate for the quad control. Also includes an acrobatic mode, that automatically makes your quad take a 360 deg. spin.... a funny feature.

To activate the rate selector and the acrobatic mode, you must push the left or right stick, pressing kind of hard. That is not so comfortable, because you can lose your stick position. This is the only bad thing I have found in this transmitter. Besides that, its very light and comfortable to use

The quad flying is very stable, and its an amazing one for beginners. I think that for that price, you cant find anything better to get started in multirotors.
