Below are a compilation video and another video with some FPV link footage from a windy day in November 2013 in the kite park in Raisio.
I was chasing Jon von Weymarn's Bixler 2.0 (LOS) with my My Bixler 1.0 (mostly FPV). This was probably the first time for both of us flying in close proximity to another plane so the results aren't that spectacular. It's easier than chasing birds, but it's not easy - need more practice!
I had my FPV camera further back than usual which proved not to be ideal for this kind of use. Since it felt safer to stay above him, he got in my blind spot whenever we were lined up perfectly. In the turns the situation was a bit better, and the wide angle helped me not lose him immediately. On the other hand, the wide angle makes everything tiny. Looking forward to try this again with a narrower angle mounted right in the front!
