Depron Delta Wing

Loving the swappable series chaps keep up the good work.

Here is my 2nd Delta Wing build. My 1st correx verion was a tad too heavy for the 1300kv motor. It flew but not great.

This one is made from 6mm depron and ready to fly with a 850 3s weighs in at 277grams. Iv changed motor to a 1500kv 15 amp and since changed the prop to a 7x6.

Just need some decent weather here in the UK to maiden it. Im sure its going to be good fun to throw about in the air.

Going to use my 1300kv motor for an old speedster build next. Cant decide if Iike building better than flying especially in the winter.

Thanks again guys for a great website.

Nice job !
I'm curious about how it will fly.

I made one from Depron in order to make it lighter, like yours, but unfortunately 5mm depron was obviously too soft : ailerons didn't have any effect and the plane was not "flyable" as is...

The big difference is that mine was a pusher configuration (http://www.flitetest.com/articles/ft-delta-pusher-concept).
Eagerly waiting for vids :-D !!!

Not had a chance to fly it yet as we are being pummelled by high winds at the moment. Im dying to give it a throw and see how it goes. Ill keep you informed.

Hi tp. I had some satin black spray paint I bought from halfords laying around so used that. Gave it 3 light coats. For the flite test logo its a stencil i made then sprayed silver.
