DIY Cable for VR-1500 DVR

I bought this very nice DVR after watching StoneBlueAirlines review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8iCSX9zvwU

And I am very happy about it so far. I see some freezing issues but most of time, it works great.

Anyway, when I was using that product and try to hook up with Video LCD and DVR and FatShark goggle, I needed more cables and I noticed that the cable for VR1500 is dedicated for only that DVR and I didn't want to have simple cable from 2.5mm A/V adapter to 2.5mm A/V adapter so I don't need other Video adapters and here is how I did.

Not the best video to show how exactly done but just want to show it can be done. I am not a good reviewer like other great reviewers out there. I am just out there having fun :)

Here is the cable name that I used. "2.5mm male to 2.5mm male 3 ring / 4 pole / 4 conductor Mini plug AV cable"

Here is some drawing (not so good one sorry) that I did to help me to track. Please ignore the color as that is the color that comes with the cable. I ordered another one and defintly color isn't right.

And here is the the other side.

Basically you just need to match the same connector one to the other.

And after the video, I also bought 2.5mm to 3.5mm and did the same (of course the color wasn't the same) and it works great!!

Happy Flight!
