Dynaflite Bird of Time Sailplane featuring a 3 meter wingspan and made of fiberglass and wood. We review this glider and check out some of its flying characteristics.
This specific glider is about 4 years old and the MonoKote on the wings is still holding up great.
Josh and his father purchased this plane, Josh wanted to make it an FPV ship, while his dad got it to soar.
This Bird of Time was customized with a motor.
The MonoKote wood wings detach and the plane can be transported in 3 parts.
The Bird of Time weighs in at about 60 oz., but this sailplane has no trouble soaring.
Having the custom motor installed is a great addition that allows you to fly to where the thermals are.
The plane turns amazingly well with the rudder.
Keep the CG where the manual suggests and this sailplane with soar very nice.

Last time I tried a three channel trainer I just wanted to cry. I love my ailerons.
I was thinking. I'm more into slope soaring, but some days are calmer where something more floaty would really be nice.
I suspect I will have ha hard time soaring the Bird Of Time on a slope because of the wide turns on two channels? Or is that not actually true?
Maybe I have to get over this aileron thing altogether.
What do you think?
