CUT THE PEICES OUT
THESE ARE THE MEASUREMENTS FOR THE DIAGONAL AXIS
GLUE THE PEICES TOGETHER
YOU SHOULD END UP WITH THIS
MARK THE HOLES
DRILL THEM
SCREW THE MOTOR MOUNT ON
ATTACH THE MOTOR
THE FOAM GIVES IT THE STABILITY AND STRENGTH THAT THE MOTOR MOUNT NEED IN ORDER TO BE PROPERLY INSTALLED
AND WE ARE DONE

I've had a hot motor melt the hot glue I was using to hold it on (for a pusher). Ultimately I burnt out the ESC because of how hot it was running. That isn't that big of a concern.
You should have packing tape wrapped around the firewall and onto the foam however. It's the firewalls job to stay flat with the motor firmly screwed onto it. It's the packing tapes job to hold the firewall to the plane.
