FPV antenna cover

Following I will show you how to create an very easy antenna cover for your FPV  “clove leaf antenna”. You can see that cover on the picture of my FPV ground station. It is the yellow “umbrella”.

What do we need?

-          “Kinder Surprise” Egg (the big one!)

-          a peace of balsa wood or foam (50mm x 10mm)

-          glue (hot glue gun)

First you have to take the big or the small part of the plastic from the “Kinder Surprise Egg” (Attention: You have to get the extra-large "Suprise Egg"!). I have used the smaller plastic part.

Then you take your balsa wood or foam peace and cut it until it fits into the middle of the Egg housing.

In the middle of the balsa / foam part you can cut out a small area for your antenna cable. Fix your balsa or foam part with a little bit of glue (hot glue) on your antenna cable. Put on the plastic cover and fix it on the balsa / foam part. That’s it!
