Hi Guys,
This is the first time I have posted something on Flite Test. I'm currently putting together a ground station that I can use in conjunction with a few of my RC planes and quad/hexcopters.
This is my first attempt at putting something together which has a little bit to go to complete the build.
A list of things I have used:

All wiring plugs in to the HobbyKing Quadcopter Power Distribution board.

Unfortunately the timber has bowed from all the moisture in the air (it has been raining here for about four days in country New South Wales - Australia). Also, sorry about the bad lighting in the photos.
I still have some things to do that will finish the project off. This includes buying another video receiver for a second antenna, tidying cords, finishing the paint and I want to have a dual battery switch for two batteries (I'm running all this gear plus a laptop off the batteries).
I'm going to change the antenna tracking system to the Arduino Ardupilot setup because I'm using Ardupilot in my multicopters and I really like the system. As you're probably aware, its leaps and bounds ahead of the Eagletree system.
I hope you found this interesting.
Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Thanks for the comments. Yes it is a little heavy (about 4KG) but the stand is solid and stands up to the wind. The stand itself is an old light stand that I purchased from Super Cheap Auto here in Australia. Here is a link to a similar stand: http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/SCA-Twin-Tripod-Halogen-Floodlight-500W.aspx?pid=291396#Cross
The good thing about the stand is you can mount anything to the top of it. The lights and wiring just unbolt as one unit ready to use the stand for whatever you want...
Hope this helps.
