Josh Orchard calls his contra-rotating Bugatti design a “labor of love.”

Built from foam, balsa, fiber glass, carbon fiber, tape, hot glue (and more!), Josh put in 300 hours of work on this powerful beast.

While he was building, he called upon the help of the incredible Flite Test community. He said that without them, he couldn’t have made this design a success. The design is based off a Bugatti design (kinda) with it’s own special sauce. This plane is not modeled exactly after a full-sized version even though it flies scale.

With the assistance of Josh Bixler, Josh Orchard flew the Bugatti for the first time at Flite Fest East 2017.

Shout out to Hobby King for the contra-rotating props and for being such a big help on this build as well!
