How to use main flight battery for FPV Transmitter

So, i think everyone who´s in to FPV has experienced the black flickering lines created from noisy power. The high and inconsistent amperage draw is what creates this noise, the black lines are simply from the power being supplied inconstantly. It is quite simple, and requires these components.    

I have glued the capacitors together, negative side up. making it easier to solder. They are basically small very high Charge/Discharge rate. Noisy power goes in, charges the capacitors, leaves the capacitors again smooth and stable. As to votage, just make sure it is higher than what your battery is and you will be fine :)

Here is the schematic showing how you have to connect everything.  

Soldering the negative connections using a insulated copper wire. 

Soldering the positive, and adding the wires. (keep in mind that their placement is crucial) 

From another angle (red is positive, orange is negative)

Placing it on the plastic board and wrapping it in heat shrink

And that´s it. Put it between you main battery pack and the Video Tx and get a crystal clear image without having an extra battery to carry around for the Video Tx.      

 !Important! The capacitors have to charge up first to have any effect, so wait 1 or 2 minutes after powering it up before flying ;)

Sweet, i have a rf choke that I made using an old power supplies magnetic coil and one cap. It made my un usable main battery usable. I took the old power supply's coil and cut the plastic cover off. Then took some old coaxial cable and stripped it. Wrapped the new coil, soldiered on the cap and now have a perfectly clear usable battery. These are very useful filters. I wish I had more knowledge in the electrical feild to better explain my setup like you have in this article. Nice write up, this really is a simple project that makes a world of difference.

i have no idea, its just inducted 0,5 mm wire, 1,5 m long. didn´t go into that much detail ;)

Hello. I looked at you schematic . Normally to get a proper 2nd order low pass filter, the coil is in series to one set of caps that are terminated to ground. This means the left side caps (on your schematic) are not even doing anything, because of the low impedance of the battery before them.

May I ask how to use the GoPro2 for FPV camera and get rid off the static line? The Problem is that I power the battery from the internal one and not the main battery yet I get some noise in the video!
