What electrical component would be required to have the lights blink just like the lights on the Night Vapor?

Search ebay for "DC 12V Delay Timer Switch Adjustable". The gadget will cost you $2 and will work with 12V led strips.

At 1:58. Is that a on/off switch from hobby king?

I use a small brushed speed controller for my lights so that they are not only switchable but I can set the intensity as well. I've noticed that on larger builds, like my Storch, the insane ammount of LED's I use can draw several amps which can greatly reduce your flight time. But with the speed controller feeding the LED's their power you can reduce the "throttle" to the LED's reducing the amp draw without loosing a lot of intensity. I've managed to get my LED's down from 2.4 amps (like I said, INSANE amount of LED's) down to 1.7 amps or so without loss in visibility range. ^_^ Hope others find this tip useful.
