This power pod is put together with one simple A-fold. If you are looking at the top end of the pod and thinking that our laser cutter may have been slightly off, don't you worry. That little angle is intentional.
This is the calculated thrust angle needed in order for the plane to fly true. This is the end you will mount the firewall on.
As always, simple packing tape is the best reinforcement. Plus, it's cheap!
After you lovingly gift wrap the firewall, remove the tape covering the mount holes.
For the electronics we use:
Motor: 2480kv 250 size
Prop: 5 x 3 minimum
ESC: 6 amp minimum
If you are looking for electronics packs you can pick them up at:
Lazer Toys: FT Mini Power Pod Electronics
Lastly, all you have to do is screw the motor onto the firewall and you're done!
Now what shall we put this into?
Why not check out our Mighty Minis!
