OrangeRx RX3S V2 Stabilizer - Test Flight

This is the HobbyKing OrangeRx V2 Stabilization unit on my Pusher Delta. This delta wing is a great park flyer but definitely gets pushed around by the wind. This stabilization unit works great for windy conditions!

I have the earlier version with no receiver and it is good you can set it to AUX to switch it on or off

Definitely should mount that stabilizer solid to the fuse. Being loose it doesn't work nearly as well.

I have it on velcro right now, I was thinking that it may help reduce vibration sensing. Do you have good results with solidly mounting it?

Good results yes. Being mounted solid it responds a lot faster to any abrupt changes. Double sided tape is the best solution. Also think about it being loose. Any changes to its axis makes the unit move to its loose limits then it stops sending another jolt to it making it send out yet another command to the servos to correct its attitude. Does this make sense? Think of it as a marble in a box. Not a good environment to be in if it is slinging all over the place sending false inputs.
