To the Flite Test Community,
We are proud to share the programs first official new DIY build to add to our great community. Only a few weeks away from being complete, the F35 is looking awesome and in this video you will see our initial testing of the aircraft. We love pusher planes, the noise, the excitement, the protection of our gear in the back of them plane, we just love it! This plane is a little more unique in that is hides the prop from the top view, and features more of a bulk inner construction design, allowing for better aerodynamics and a more scale look. The only downfall is that the power system doesn't receive the ideal amount of air needed for maximum performance, for this reason it calls for a more powerful setup.
The team plans to have a cool montage video in the future to represent the new aircraft, a build video to along with it, and we hope to kit the plane for sale to help fundraise for the program.
So stay tuned and we look forward to the Flite Test community building our aircraft to showcase in your flight area or better at the next Flite Fest.
Months of work went into the design of this aircraft
We designed a battery tray to fit into the fuselage of the aircraft through its large canopy opening.
The 2206 motor worked, but we felt it was still under-powered!
So we upgraded the power system with the classic Super Mega Jet motor from Grayson Hobbies!
ESC is nice a large and can take some amps! Stayed cool the whole time.
Now we are happy!
Flies scale too!
