Rotor Bones Tilt 13-370
Tilting motor mount and landing gear for tricopters. Supports motors up to 370 size (45g) and 8X4.5 props.
These are the assembly instructions for the Rotor Bones Tilt 13-370 motor mount and landing gear. You can purchase this product HERE.
The Rotor Bones Tilt 13-370 motor mount and landing gear package includes one complete unit. It's laser-cut from acetal resin, an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability.
NOTE: Does not include the servo. We recommend a micro digital, metal gear servo.
TGY-375DMG Metal gear Digital Servo
Designed around common 1/2" (13mm) square wood dowels, to be used as booms.
Pop out all the parts.
These are all the parts layed out. You linkage stoppers (the little silver things that hols the pull rods onto the servo) might look different than the ones pictured. Don't worry, they do the same thing.
Install the center strut first. Don't worry everything is symetrical so you can't install it backwards.
Add the front and rear supports.
From this point on it'll be easier to asseble it by sliding it on the wood arm. Add the top mount plate.
Add one of the side pannels.
Now set te landing gear aside and we'll work on the motor mount. First add the Control tab.
You may have to press it firmly against the table to get it in all the way.
Turn over the mount and install the other inge tabs.
Now mark the hole to drill for the screw and locknut.
