this is a friends hobbyzone glassair sportsman this landing gear dosent work well ondirt time to modify

first thing remove prop and cowling

next remove steering collet

front landing gear removed

next remove wheel skirts and wheels

skirts and wheels removed

remove wheel collets from both sides

collet removed

note size difference upgrade wheels are 21/2 stock are an 11/2

i used brass rod tiny bit bigger than stock this does require some fileing to fit into collet

bend here is the same as the stock bend and length

compairing to the stock version

this is where you will need to do a little fileing or you can just drill out the collet bends were some guess work they are from the first bend after the collet 1inch down 3/4in over and inch and a half down the bend for the axle is determend by the width of the wheel

front view showing wheel alignment if it is of center it dosent track very well!!

finished and ready for the dirt air strip!!! this is the second one i've done and it works very well compared to the stock set up as for the added wieght it dosent really affect the plane at all so ive been told.
