Born in Dallas Texas. I had an interest in Airplanes as a child. I join a U-control club at age 9 and my dads clock shop was just down the street from Bernie's Hobby Shop in Oak Cliff. I actually wore out 5 cox pt-19 planes, I flew my first RC plane, a pulse rc single channel Goldberg Skylane. My first RC was an old timer and a Heathkit 3 channel. I was scratch building my own balsa creations in the early 70's. My favorite scratch build was a B-17 but in canard configuration. I love the slow flyers like the Astro Hog and Large Gliders. Now days i fly nothing but electric. On a 100 acre i don't care to disturb the livestock.
