Full sized aircraft mainly older production light aircraft and homebuilt aircraft. If it's got a motor in it I want to see it... If it flies or floats that's neat.

I was Daddies little girl growing up so I grew up around work boats, old airplanes and old cars. Dad had no idea at the time but he kindled in me a life long passion for aviation. Fifty plus years later the love is still there. Dad taught me to work with my hands and how to make things, this was a good thing because the skills I learned in shop class like welding and metal working have served me well. But they have also taken their toll on my body, three and a half years ago a low back injury put an end to metal working for a living. At this time I am learning Computer Aided Drafting and Design so I can put to use all the knowledge gained on the shop floor over the years when it comes to designing things for other people to build. I am building a homebuilt aircraft and have a couple of designs on the drawing board but that has been put on the back burner while I am in school. I was flying RC aircraft in late 70s and early 80s and have played with off and on over the year. Things have changed a fair bit it was electrics were rare to see, now most everyone is flying them. There is something about glo and gas engines that keeps pulling me back to them... maybe it's my roots in RC started there.
