OFM 380-RTF FPV Quadcopter Full Review

Excited to share with you my full review today of a really cool RTF FPV Quadcopter kit from Only Flying Machines. This kit comes with everything you need to start flying FPV with a quad copter right from the box.

I am not new to FPV but I am new to quadcopters. I have flown airplanes and helicopters but this is my first time flying a quadcopter and doing it by FPV. (First Person View) I thought this kit would be great to learn a lot from and share my thoughts with those just starting out as well.

The owner of Only Flying Machines AliShanMao and I had been in touch last year about doing a quad review on this kit and it really is slick set up. I have been really impressed with the quads he is building and this kit is no different. Ali was kind enough to send me what I will call the celebrity edition of this kit. This kit was personally owned and flown by Ali on his youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/alishanmao The quad has some air time on it but it still flies great.

Included in the kit:
Lotus T380 Quadcopter
Walkera Devention Devo 7 Controller
7 inch LCD FVP monitor with shades
5.8ghz 400mw Video transmitter
RC305 Video Receiver with dual AV out (you can connect additional goggles or LCD Screens to share video feed coming from you aircraft)
Stock 2 dbi Rubber Duck antennas

All you need to flying out of the box is a battery for the quad, radio, TX & RX.

Also this FPV system off the Quadcopter could be easly put on any plane instantly turning it into a FPV Plane. The possibilities are unlimited with this set up.

Thanks again Ali for working with us on this review. Keep up the great work.

Glad to here you like your Quad. Ali is very good at what he does, great vids. Have you ever priced his products not from his website but piece it together. I have and if you do it yourself you can bye for half the cost or even better. I'm not talking trash but man look at his prices they are out of control. I just feel that he is ripping honest people off of there hard earned money. He Byes Chinese nock offs and sells them for more than what the name brand are. Take it for what it is worth, I'm just informing readers so they do not make a high cost mistake.

He is in business to stay in business and also sells items to those that don't have the time or experience to build there own. Instant gratification when you can buy it ready and tested. Save money and build your own and learn to set it up is always an option but as a business owner as well you pay for the expertise of someone along with the item your getting so that is always a consideration when making a purchase. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Ben. I have been flying it more and it is very easy to get up and flying fast. Plus you get a long run time on a small battery.

Nice review, have been following Ali's video's for some time now. Nice to see a 3rd party review of his copters.
You can use different rx's with a Devo system when you install deViation (www.deviation.com. This firmware gives a whole load of new features to a Devo Tx

Thanks for the feedback and I will go and check out that site. Glad to know you can flash it to get it to work on other stuff. That would be perfect. Ali does have some great stuff glad we could do this one for him. I like his stuff.
