Highlights from the last month of aerial media! I will take you through my Cowboy journey capturing some of the most amazing land I have ever seen. My kit includes: Quadframes Sixcopter, 3 Axis DSLR Gimbal, Sony NEX 5N and Lumix GH4. All the footage was shot in 1080/60fps. I edited the video with FCPX, and did very min post stab (0.5%). I am the owner and operator of Eclipse Aerial Solutions, I do everything pretty much solo, from flying and controlling the gimbal too editing. I love what I do and am grateful to make a living following my passion.

Really beautiful video. Nice work! Loved the shot with the (presumably) father/son scoping out a fly fishing spot.

Thank you Ross, yea that shot was from some work up on the Eel River in Northern California. That day the winds were gusting at 30 mph haha.

Beautiful video. A work of art. If I could make one suggestion it would be to add more content to your article. The video is great, but what would make this a great article would be some details about your setup, your trip, challenges of shooting aerial footage, etc. I'm sure you've got a great story to tell and the rest of us could learn from your experiences. Thanks for contributing!

I was thinking of doing a voiceover that I could discuss the different clips and talk about the setup involved etc, kind of like a day behind the controls of an aerial media operator. I appreciate the great advice and will update the content on the video description with more info on the shoots, setup, etc.

There is more to come, I will be doing a video "A day with a aerial media operator" Should be pretty cool to get an insight on everything that goes into a day of filming.
