i agree to disagree with this post. so librapilot and the flight controllers you can put it on are the unicorn this article is missing and its ok because every one cant know everything, that is where i come in. So the firmware Libra pilot that you download on one of the flight controllers lets take a revolution. it is less than $50 you can program it to control a multirotor, fixed wing airplanes , bi-copters, helicopters, boats, and other ground surface vehicles. there are about 10 different flight modes that range from using a gps sensor to stay in exactly one spot perfectly and hover there until your battery is burnt up or you can set it up to have full complete control to race like rate mode or even acro plus flight mode thats rates but almost like expo built in flight mode when you are upside down or what ever orientation it will let you to move your craft as fast as you want it to. if you set it up in a heli you know how expensive a fbl set ups are and this cuts that cost dramatically or even in a plane like all the safe and as3x type technologys you could set it up letting you bank more and more in different flight modes there is a mode called ratitude that lets you fly upside down and you set up by degrees when it goes into inverted and when you get back into those degrees it will auto level your plane or if you cant and panic you can just switch it back to a flight mode in a split second that will auto level with a gps you can fly autonomous and waypoint missions and have altitude hold so you dont have to worry about crashing into the ground. so in conclusion i believe it is the ultimate flight controllers and ground control stations (gcs) Librapilot. i have been been in the rc hobby for close to 30 years and , i feel one of the most important aspects is the forum community is small but very active and they bend over backwards trying to get people into the air. They are the one of the most knowledgeable group of guys out there, very helpful very smart, super nice and best of all they do it for the hobby. so check it out www.librepilot.org check out the documentation and the user manuals and the how to's because theres tons of information on the flight controllers that are supported and everything else there is to know about setting up your craft as well. well i say good day!!!
