Here are just two examples of some all in one groundstations.
Peter's first all in one solution is based out of a Harbor Freight aluminum case.
Peter's case featured a cheap affordable Hobbyking 9X radio that was integrated into the whole unit.
Although cool looking, the case proved impractical for some purposes therefore Peter eventually abandonded this concept and changed to a different direction.
The monitor in this case was a 13" Craig TV, The problem with FPV usage was the "blue screen" function. The "blue screen" function proved to be troublesome when flying and having a signal that is starting to break up.
Most monitors designed for FPV will display static or "snow". You can still fly and see the received signal through the static although it will be hard to see. This monitor would just display the "blue screen" thus making it a poor choice for flying.
Eric built this as his first "real" ground station. (as opposed to velcroing the Rx to a tripod) The monitor screen was used by his 2nd operator for operation of the gimbal camera while Eric flew the copter through the FPV board camera.
Eric created his helmet because of the need to be mobile when flying shots that required quick moves from one location to another. Unlike Fatsharks wireless goggles, the Zeiss cinemizers are attached by a wire to a control unit....the helmet provided the place for this unit, batteries to power the system etc.
Peter's second case was featured in a SKB 1610-5 Case. This case is water proof and proved more robust than the cheaper Harbor Freight option.
The case also integrated the transmitter for easy transport and travel.
Here you can see the master switches and sub switches. The sub switches (white) have yet to be labeled. These switches are manufactured by Carlington, Peter can't seem to find a link to the exact models at it seems as these are discontinued models.

The ground station features the GetFPV 8" luminer moniter, Immersion RC 5.8 ghz receiver and an EzUHF system.
Here we see the Graupner Mz-24 nicely cased within the box.
The battery compartment could easily hold multiple 3S batteries, Peter also stores some accessories in this compartment as well.

Now I am convinced I can make a mini-groundstation out of an small 25cm x 15cm x 6cm aluminium make-up box I have, using the small screen out of those cheap Quanum homebrew FPV goggles and some other electronics for small in close things, and even make it cheap!! I love the idea of the transmitter in the box because I am a pincher, and I would probably try that out with a Devo 7E which is cheap and very capable when prepared right, but that's much later on heheheh.
