Hey Everyone!
A few weeks ago I decided to join the club and build my own multirotor. This is how it’s going so far.
I took inspiration in a couple of frames but I decided to design my own to meet my gear. These are a couple of neat features:
- Nothing is glued, and no zip ties are used in the main frame
- Although Anti-vibration Pads were used, the kk2 board can be unmounted
- Position adjustment for the battery
- Super simple gimbal designed for GoPro3
- Cell Checker and Low Voltage Alarm
There are a few pictures of how it’s looking:
It’s my first multirotor ever, so any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

love your frame... looks great.
I'm on my first tricopter project as well ... using 1500kv motors, 3s, 9x4,7 props. It's hard to find a good hover stick-position. Either it decents or it rises... not so easy to hold in one position. Read somewhere that lower kv motors have a better resolution.
