replacing fatigued aircraft.

I usually replace or decomission an airplane after a few years of use.  Especially a foamy, Depending on the size of the airplane and parts you always have to check your fuselage for cracks on the outside and the inside,  How we do that you say, well use a high intense light and place the fuselage or wing in front of the light, you will be able to see the inside of the foam and you can check for cracks or fatigue,

I learned that lesson not too long ago when my 7 year old foamy decided to loose integrity on an approach landing.  Wood, metal and foam have their fatigue limit.

Here is my replacement Islander from GWS to replace the old one :-).

Not sure what you are making a major point about..

Major point is that you replace worn out parts, if you hear a glitch on your servo, get it replaced right away, either wise you will have a big crash in your not too far future.
Its called preventative maintenance.
And since i am making this build i share some advice with other fellow pilots. :-)
