Seawind Review

Ever since we started testing our new water resistant foam board, we have been obsessed with the water.

In one of our first episodes with Peter, we put the Hobbico Tidewater to the test. Hobbico has since released the Seawind, which is larger and has retracts, lights and a very scale cockpit.

Not everyone has a lake close by, so the Seawind’s landing gear is a huge plus. We tested the flight characteristics, stall, aerobatics and power in the air. 

After we tested the Seawind’s air capabilities, we put its water handling to the test! We saw what it could do on the ramp, taxiing into the water, taking off and the overall water maneuverability.

Overall the Seawind has a lot of improvements compared to the Tidewater, and we had a blast flying it.
