Austin and Alex bring back the Flite Test podcast! After taking a bit of a break from the main podcast, we are back on track. We want to give a big thank you to the Afterhours crew for keeping at least a bi-weekly podcast going in our absence

Great job on the podcast! I loved listening to it. You should get Josh Scott on a podcast soon.

Glad that you seem to be back. Some of your earlier, educational, podcasts I listen to over and over again. Chad and David both, always contributing a reassuring intellectual clarity to conversations: a clarity, let's be honest, often missing since. Indeed, many of your latter podcasts, before you stopped completely, I barely listened to once. I've ended up moving towards precision flying so I am always interested in intelligent discussions about flying.

Please don't neglect your fixed wing fans.

I need help on this so I would like to challenge FT to set up a course to accurately fly geostationary figure 8s in a wind, lengthwise for ease, crosswind if you really want to impress, and explain and demonstrate the need for adding rudder input in order for it even to be possible.

Cheers and thanks.

Hi there,

On the voicemail there was a question about a WATER ROCKET POWERED GLIDER.
There was a scratch build in a German magazine recently. I have it somewhere. Maybe I will photograph it although translating it will be very time consuming.
But here is a link
http://modell-aviator.de/downloads/energiewende-mal-anders/
and the plan is here
http://modell-aviator.de/files/av0815_downloadplan_zisch.pdf

Hope that will give you some ideas !!!
Keep on flying

You asked for suggestions about the podcast, the biggest one would be for consistency, just do one every other week as you used to do. I found Flite Test through You Tube, but I really became a fan of Flite Test because of the podcasts. You guys seem a lot more approachable from listening to you on podcasts, I think you do a disservice to your organization by letting them slide in favor of other things. Hope to see more regular podcasts from the regular Flite Test staff in the near future.

Thank You!!! Thank You!!! Thank You!!! Thank You!!! You're back! Now I've got something else to listen to on my many hour road trips for work. You guys are like my family on the road. It warms my heart to hear you back. Love After Hours guys too. Periscope is cool but it can cause accidents on freeway.
